TOUR DATES FOR 2025 ANNOUNCED
ERIK COHEN is certainly one of the more unconventional German-speaking rock musicians of recent years. Over 5 studio albums, he has effortlessly combined what has become second nature to him through his musical socialization. With a palpable joy for catchy melodic arcs, he has created rock songs that may vary in their approaches, but always form a coherent overall picture in the broader context.
Now, the Kiel native announces the strictly limited studio live album “Live from the Past II” (RYL NKR Recordings | Rough Trade) for September 5, 2025, which presents a Best Of mix of recent years in a raw live format. Recorded with Ulf Nagel in the Demolition Room, where the similarly titled SMOKE BLOW albums were also created under very similar conditions. A concept that not only brings joy to the participating musicians but also provides entertaining listening pleasure and brings the rough live charm of club concerts into the living room in beautiful quality.
Since February 27, 2025, fresh tour dates have gone on sale. During this tour, not only will the release be extensively celebrated, but a freshly revised setlist will also present some first new song material.
