Hassle Records is excited to announce the signing of the London metallic hardcore band False Reality and the release of their new EP "Path Of Self Destruct" on vinyl.
To celebrate the signing and the release, the quartet is releasing an official visualizer for the single "Pay The Reeper". The announcement follows their sold-out headline show in London at The Black Heart.

"Path of Self Destruct has been a long time coming, but we are so happy to finally share it with everyone, and we are endlessly grateful for the reactions it has received since its release. This EP feels like home to us. Each of us has such a different taste and a great appreciation for so many genres within heavy music, allowing us to create our own sound by incorporating all the influences that led us to form a band. It’s about a wide range of emotions like the loss of a loved one, feeling unheard and underestimated. We poured our souls into this album, and it has already inspired us for what’s next to come."
After recording "Path Of Self Destruct" with producer Steve Sears Jr (Gallows, TRC, Prowler, Conjurer), the band now wants to prove why they stand out from the crowd, delivering a release that is equally blasting and poetically cathartic. The EP lyrically addresses the complexities of life and explores themes such as betrayal, societal values, and tragedies.
False Reality is a London hardcore band formed in 2023, with members deeply rooted in the underground music scene. They are known for their thrash-heavy hardcore crossover sound and energetic performances that showcase influences from bands like Trapped Under Ice, Broken Teeth, and Backtrack, as well as the early era of Sepultura and even Deftones.
