Today, the new Die Radierer video single "Washingtoner Washing Bär" is released, offering a small taste of the upcoming EP "500 Millionen Songs," which will be released on August 30.

Die Radierer were founded in the distant past (1978) by the two humanized comic characters Jürgen Beuth and C B Bodenstein and are among the inventors of German post-punk, alongside DAF, Fehlfarben, and others.
In 2024, the five-member band presents itself as the best Die Radierer of all time, as can be heard in their brand new track "Washingtoner Washing Bär": catchy ska rhythms, cheerful guitars, playful melodies. A great pop song that definitely makes you want to dance.
Additionally, there is a drastic, subtly subversive text about the raccoon plague that has explosively spread across Europe from North Hesse.
"The raccoon has eaten all our cherries, littered the attic, and driven the hedgehogs out of the garden," complains Radierer singer C B Bodenstein.
