Wow... Awesome punk rock music from Berlin (actually from Strausberg near Berlin).
I wrote this three years ago for the second INWIEFERN album "Something is Always Happening" (https://www.ramtatta.de/s/reviews/f/details/id/8122/) and I would start the review of the third album "Rendezvous with Reality" in the same way.
15 amazing tracks + 1 bonus track on the CD (or 3 bonus tracks on the limited edition "mini green" vinyl with 333 copies) make my pogo dance leg swing for 36 minutes. One punk rock gem follows another.... You really don't know which song to start the review with...
Maybe with the first single – a release from the album "Your Family Tree is a Circle", featuring guest vocalist Luise Fuckface from THE TOTEN CRACKHUREN IM KOFFERRAUM and LULU & DIE EINHORNFARM, where for 2 ½ minutes they tackle the AfD and concerned citizens. A true pub earworm (if only the pubs would open again...)
Or perhaps with the second single – release "What Rock'n'Roll Means", featuring the best line of the decade in the chorus "... the best ideas start with: Hold my beer!" A song born to splash each other with the Maurerbrause in mass pogo.
And then there's the third single – publication "Masquerade", which unfortunately cannot reach the super high level of the first two songs. Not that "Masquerade" is bad, but "Your Family Tree is a Circle" and "What Rock'n'Roll Means" are milestones on the Berlin "Fame of Walk", you just can't get past them...
In between and around are the other 12 songs, which blast out of the speakers in the best KNOCHENFABRIK / SUPERNICHTS quality, just INWIEFERN. Vocally slightly off, musically top-notch. And so the CD keeps playing and playing and playing and playing in the CD changer of my car, the whole mechanism must be getting hot and the CD must have scratches by now ;-)
The bonus track, track 16, is in English, which is completely unusual for INWIEFERN and the lyrics are not even in the pretty dark booklet :-(. I still like "Remember those nights" though.
