More than their band and album name, I can't remember much about BULLENSCHUBSER from Berlin. The 12 German-language songs plus a live recorded cover of BLOOD FOR BLOOD don't blow me away, typical shouted Oi!-punk with scene-typical lyrics, of which there are thousands. Additionally, there are quite off-key sung chorus passages that are more torturous to the ears than enjoyable. The statement from BULLENSCHUBSER regarding being apolitical ("a nice greeting to the idiots from the left and right, fuck you, you morons!") also doesn't sit well with me. It's much easier to criticize than to think for oneself and stand behind something.
However, there are still two positive things to report, hence the 2 points: the booklet is really good, and the CD is available at a mid-nice price of under 10 euros.
