On the first weekend of August, there are also alternatives to stone throwing in Hanover. How about hopping on your bike first and then swinging to some good music? The opportunity for this is provided by the 5th Bike 'n' Roll Festival in Großröhrsdorf near Dresden. Interested cyclists can register for the BMX, Dual, and Dirt Jump competitions on the homepage www.bike-and-roll.de. Of course, spectators are also welcome before they enjoy a full punk rock experience in the evening with Die Skeptiker, Deadline, and Rawside.
