With the release of the new single "Post Human Empire", the Nuremberg metalcore band IMMUNITY once again announced the release of their debut album "BREATHE". The album was released digitally and as a CD via Recordjet on 12.08.22. On the 10-track strong longplayer, singer Dominik "Nik" Maiser impresses not only with clean, emotional, and pleasantly melodic vocals but also with bone-chilling shouts and screams. These are paired with a quirky, original sound featuring deep guitars and a driving beat. To complete the album, the band, consisting of Dominik Maiser (vocals), Adrien Dembowski (guitar), Heinz Christian Oetken (guitar), Max Neuner (bass), and Johannes Noderer (drums), enlisted high-profile support. We are talking about Christoph Wieczorek, the guitarist, co-vocalist, songwriter, and producer of Annisokay, one of the leading metalcore acts in Europe.
Aggressive crushers like the title track "Breathe", the brilliantly breakdown-equipped "Breaking Character", the widescreen "Post Human Empire", or the atmospheric power ballad "Symbiosis" underline the versatile sound of the album. Thematically, "BREATHE" is a colorful mix of personal songs about heartbreak and personal growth, profound reflections on our society, fantasy scenarios, pandemic feelings, and more.
ABOUT IMMUNITY:
The Nuremberg metalcore band IMMUNITY got to know each other in 2020 just before the outbreak of the pandemic. The core consists of frontman and lyricist Dominik "Nik" Maiser and multi-instrumentalist Adrien Dembowski. IMMUNITY already caused quite a stir with their first two digitally released singles "Trust The Algorithm" and "Trainwreck", both produced entirely independently but also with professional music videos. While IMMUNITY was working on their debut album set to be released in 2022 and COVID restrictions were being eased, Maiser and Dembowski expanded the group's lineup. With second guitarist Heinz Christian Oetken, bassist Max Neuner, and drummer Johannes Noderer, the band is now complete. The debut album "BREATHE" will be released on 12.08.2022
