With "The streets I call my own," BOOZE & GLORY celebrate the release of their new album "Raising The Roof" (Pirate Press Records), which is available both digitally and as a limited collector's item on vinyl.
BOOZE & GLORY was founded in 2009 in London and initially served as a direct homage to the street punk and Oi! bands of the British scene from the late 70s and 80s. Thanks to one of the most captivating songwriting efforts to emerge from the streets of the British capital in a long time, and a heroic and reckless dedication to live performances, the band gradually gained a colossal international fanbase, with the video for their debut being viewed over 24 million times on YouTube. Tours in Asia, South America, the USA, and pretty much everywhere they were wanted ensured that Booze & Glory's albums like "As Bold As Brass" or "Chapter IV" became an essential listening experience for fans of hard-hitting and cheeky rock 'n' roll.
Between 2017 and 2019, a lot happened in the B&G camp. The band added countless new triumphs to their already impressive resume, playing over 200 shows worldwide, including high-profile appearances at the legendary French festival HellFest and at Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas. Along the way, the band played their first Japan tour and a 10-day arena tour in Germany as support for Broilers. They also warmed up the stage for Judas Priest at the Pol'And'Rock Festival in Poland in front of 700,000 spectators. But that wasn't all: BOOZE & GLORY also toured Australia for the first time and completed dates in Indonesia and Malaysia. In 2018, the band was also awarded the Vive Le Rock Award for Best New Band, voted by the fans!
In 2019, B&G joined the powerful Persistence Tour in Europe, and a few months later, they were loudly supported by the modern punk heroes Dropkick Murphys. The American folk-punk legends took Booze & Glory on a five-week US tour, where they got to know their own massive fanbase - an average of 4,000 people going wild every night.
The rest of 2019 was a whirlwind for BOOZE & GLORY. The long-awaited fifth album of the band, "Hurricane," produced by Millencolin guitarist Mathias Farm, was released through the band's own label Scarlet Teddy Records. The album sold more copies than all four previous albums combined, which is why Booze & Glory appeared in the official German charts!
2019 ended with a long European tour consisting of 30 shows with Giuda and Analogs.
Due to the global pandemic situation, the band had to postpone their America and Asia tours as well as numerous summer festivals. But even though the guys couldn't tour during this time, they were busy recording their second Reggae Session (the band's reggae side project), which was released in 2021 by Pirates Press Records.
With "Raising The Roof," BOOZE & GLORY are bringing their street punk roots back into focus and making you crave more!
