With "Joga Bonito," Berlin rapper Nali will release a collaboration EP on March 5th together with producer MotB from the Berlin underground crew BHZ. Today, the first single "Weltmeister" is already being released.
After Nali released his debut EP Mondwächter in 2020, he is now following up with BHZ producer MotB and announcing their joint "Joga Bonito" EP for March 5th. On the first single "Weltmeister," Nali shares the raps with his younger brother Xaver, who already made waves in the Berlin New Wave and beyond in 2020 with his performances at Hotbox and his EP "Soßenbrot."
Nali is part of the so-called new Berlin scene surrounding players like BHZ, Symba, or Pashanim.

When Nali was seven years old, his father brought home a drum machine, and on the same day, he recorded his first rap song. This was followed by the classic rap socialization of the 2000s: Eminem, 50 Cent, and Co.
Born in 1996 in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg and raised as the son of a Nigerian filmmaker and a German film and theater actor, art and music are omnipresent in his home. The Roots and Erykah Badu play alongside Prince and Fela Kuti. "At first, I only rapped to gain recognition, but gradually I understood how much music actually means to me: How important it is for me to write lyrics and have this outlet in the form of rap." Suddenly, NALI also hears the songs from his childhood home with different ears. "I realized: It goes much deeper - from that moment on, my music also became more honest."
"Joga Bonito" by Nali and MotB will be released on March 5, 2021, via Gold League / Sony Music.
