Even though these times with Corona are anything but normal and our upcoming tour will hardly take place in the planned form, we have never doubted that we would release our album on 28.08.2020.
The first single from the new album -Friedensmüde- is out and the pre-sale for the new album and merch starts now.
Our drummer Johannes has been printing the COR merch for many years.
Sustainability is important to us, and thus the merch is mostly made from 100% organic cotton, GOTS certified, and produced under fair working conditions.
We have currently switched to higher quality shirts.
If you have any questions about this, e.g. how do the shirts fit? ...just send an email to:
cor-info@ruegencore.de
The Friedensmüde motif is drawn by Johannes and can be found on the current shirt.

This song “Lass doch mal die Leute“ (second single release) is not about us. It’s about you! We want to know what quirky things you do in your life, what you consider good and right in the depths of your being, and what other people find strange, laugh at, reject, or even despise you for. Whether it’s vegan sneakers, pogotango, nettle soup, or the god of anti-pop,… send us a short video in good quality by 31.08.2020 to:
We will then present the complete work of the song from all submitted fan videos in due time.
What We Dream Of – New Friedemann Podcast Series Starting 03.08.2020
The world is bad. Everything is shit. Evil wins. We have no chance.
This is how one might summarize the general mood of humanity when listening to or reading the news in the evening. I don’t believe that, as I know many incredibly dedicated people who have not given up, who think ahead and develop life strategies that are exciting and worth considering. To let you participate in this, there will be episodes from today on with conversations between me and various contemporaries who present their way of approaching everyday life. It’s called a podcast, and I don’t need to explain this format to most people. I am convinced that this world is better than we believe, and maybe I can pass on a little of this optimism.
You can tune into the podcast starting 03.08.2020, which is available on all known and unknown platforms. There will be another episode every month.
Enjoy listening, thinking, and acting.
