Exactly ten years ago, the Sauerland thrashers ERADICATOR released their first full-length album, "The Atomic Blast." On March 22, 2019, the expanded, eagerly awaited reissue of the band's long out-of-print debut will be released. In addition to the nine classics from the debut, which remain unchanged in the scope of the release, ERADICATOR has also re-recorded four of the songs in the studio. To better capture the character of the matured songs, the selected pieces were recorded in a live situation within a few hours.
Additionally, the anniversary version includes a completely revised booklet, featuring photos from 15 years of turbulent band history. The CD will be released through Green Zone Music.
As a special highlight for all lovers of black gold, the long-overdue vinyl LP of "The Atomic Blast" will simultaneously be released through the label ftwctp Records. This version, while lacking the bonus tracks, includes a download code for the extended version and features the originally planned original cover artwork. Furthermore, it is limited to 250 copies.
Songs like "Possessed By The Devil," "Capital Punishment," or "When Bullets Drop Like Rain…" have lost none of their freshness in 2019, remain a staple of ERADICATOR's shows, and make the metal horns of thrash fans shoot up.
