Do punk rock and rap go together? When ZSK and Swiss team up for a good cause, the answer must be a clear "YES". The result is the song "Hamburg 2017".
Just before the G20 protests in the Hanseatic city, ZSK is releasing this exclusive mobitrack. The Hamburg rapper Swiss makes a guest appearance. All proceeds from iTunes downloads and Spotify will be donated to the protest alliance "Block G20".
"Whether in Berlin or Hamburg, no one is excited about this damn summit," says Joshi from ZSK. "There are currently many reasons to take to the streets, but the G20 summit is definitely the most important one this year." Both artists want as many people as possible to come to Hamburg to make it clear: the G20 do not represent us!
ZSK will also give a free concert in Hamburg as part of the protests on July 8. The exact location will be announced shortly before.
Tens of thousands of demonstrators from all over Europe are expected in Hamburg from July 6 to 9, when Putin, Merkel, Erdogan, Trump, and others will decide on the future of the world in luxury hotels. 20,000 police officers are set to protect the event.
