End Hits Records brings together its two flagship bands Boysetsfire and Wolf Down on a split benefit picture single set to be released in June, aiming to draw public attention to a largely overlooked social issue: the fate of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter*, and queer (LGBTI*Q) refugees in Berlin.
All proceeds from the sale of the single (vinyl and digital) will be donated to Schwulenberatung Berlin e.V., whose wonderful commitment (representing many other initiatives in Germany) is to be honored and supported with this release.
The picture 7" single is limited to 1000 copies!

In addition to the often complicated and unfortunately still not taken for granted acceptance of LGBTI*Q in everyday German life, the mostly volunteer staff of Schwulenberatung Berlin e.V. also advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter*, and queer (LGBTI*Q) refugees. Beyond classic integration support (e.g., language courses), they also offer assistance in finding doctors, lawyers, or psychotherapists - as well as a safe place and a refuge among like-minded individuals.
Looking at the fate of thousands of LGBTI*Q refugees who have often been persecuted and humiliated in their home countries, the integration efforts of Schwulenberatung symbolize for us the hope for interdenominational freedom and personal self-determination, which we believe every person deserves.
