Adolf Bush

Under MoveOn.org, a liberal civil rights organization in the USA called for submissions of a thirty-second anti-Bush video on the topic "the truth about George Bush's policies." By the submission deadline on December 31, 2003, more than 1,500 entries had been received, and the website partially crashed under the weight of the enormous visitor numbers. The site made headlines with a spot that transformed the face of George Bush into that of Adolf Hitler. Although this video was removed from the site by the end of the year, it can still be found on Edonkey: ed2k://|file|Bush.and.Hitler.comparisions.-.Moveon.org.mov|5239742|0FA0A2F93D83CB3BAA697D7B210C747B|/. On January 12, the winner of the competition is to be announced. This spot will subsequently be broadcast on television. The 15 entries ultimately nominated for the vote can be viewed at http://www.bushin30seconds.org/ as QuickTime videos.
