Now it's official!
The reason for the comeback of TERRORGRUPPE was not only a few big festival shows in 2014, but a completely different project: a new album called "TIERGARTEN". The first one in about 10 years ... actually 12. (!!!)
After the band, which uniquely combines subversive humor and a biting attitude with musical finesse and a carefree variety, went into a provisional hiatus in 2005, a new studio album is finally set to be released on JANUARY 15, 2016, "approximately the seventh or eighth," the band admits with their usual laconic tone. Founders ARCHI "MC MOTHERFUCKER" ALERT and JOHNNY BOTTROP, along with bassist ZIP SCHLITZER, have expanded to a quintet with new members KID KATZE and EROS RAZORBLADE, and they play on "TIERGARTEN" as varied as ever, full of driving energy, angry, sarcastic, hard, direct but also over-the-top and consciously light-footed fast, exactly the TERRORGRUPPE album that the world has been waiting for all these years.
Because the band has been doing everything themselves in the old DIY tradition since 2001, from pre-production, recording, artwork to the trailer film, the release will take a short moment of about 8 months.
The album will be released in four configurations... CD Digipack, LP + Download, limited Box Edition, and limited Glitter Vinyl LP + DL, which can be pre-ordered from today (...or should definitely be pre-ordered by collectors)
