At the beginning of the week, the Boston street punk band STREET DOGS played a concert in Anaheim when suddenly a group of neo-Nazis gained entry and mixed in with the audience.
After threats, intimidation, and even “Sieg Heil” chants, the violent Nazis encountered resistance, as concert-goers, security, and not least the band itself stood up to the fascist group and tried to push them out the door.
There were injuries on both sides, and even STREET DOGS guitarist Lenny Lashley (see photo) was not spared. However, the injuries were superficial, the band was able to finish their set, and the civil courage against the far right paid off.
