Wavering between hope and resignation, personal catastrophes collide with the grand scale. A bit more reflective and mature, without being boring, the 12 songs on “Jagd und Hund“ come across. Melancholy, darkness, sorrow, and anger are just as much a part of the whole as this Love A-typical dose of madness that makes the band so distinctive.
