The youth campaign "Kein Bock Auf Nazis" is distributing CDs again - information about the tracklist and distribution locations reads as follows:
"30,000 free CDs are being distributed by the youth campaign "Kein Bock Auf Nazis" starting today all over Germany. 20 songs from major bands that are committed against neo-Nazis and racism can be heard on it. Among those involved are Die Toten Hosen, Die Ärzte, Beatsteaks, Kraftklub, Donots, Fettes Brot, Deichkind, Marteria, Broilers, and ZSK. The artists want to send a joint message against right-wing violence and racist agitation against refugees with this action. They all support our campaign and everyone who actively stands against Nazis....
"It shouldn't really surprise anyone, but it is still encouraging and always impressive how many great bands come together here to say that they have no interest in Nazis," says Die Ärzte drummer Bela B..
"Last year there were over 11,000 right-wing crimes. Especially refugee accommodations are in the sights of neo-Nazis and racists. Our CD is an important contribution to countering racist propaganda. Youth culture that actively stands against neo-Nazis and racism must be strengthened," says Christoph Schulze from the Antifascist Press Archive and Educational Center Berlin (apabiz).
The action was financed solely through donations and financial support from Ver.di, Attac, IG-Metall, GEW, and the DGB. Kein Bock Auf Nazis is Germany's largest independent youth campaign against right-wing extremism and racism. Since 2006, the initiative has been informing and activating young people who want to engage against neo-Nazis.
