"L’Odore Della Morte" is certainly one of the strongest live songs by Talco, but at the time of the original recording for the debut album, it was far from its current musical finesse. The band loves constant reinvention and development and "growing beyond themselves" ... from a small ska-punk combo in the local youth center in Maghera to international prominence with a distinctive style.
Talco in their own words:
"For us, the real birth of Talco as a true band only happened with the release of our debut album in 2004. We celebrate this birthday with the live album "10 Years - Live in Irunia" and, of course, we chose "L'Odore della Morte" as the first single and music video. "L' Odore" was the first song from our first recordings, it has been the song we have changed and rearranged the most over the years, and it still remains one of the favorite songs at all our shows even after ten years."
Director Nicola Gusella traveled with Talco for an entire weekend and filmed two shows in Berlin and Hamburg.
