The mega festival Wacken Open Air will hit German cinemas on July 24, 2014 - a week before the start of the sold-out Wacken 2014. 18 3D cameras, directed by Norbert Heitker, captured the metal spectacle last year, and soon metalheads and festival-goers will be able to dive back into the beer-soaked atmosphere.
Not only the big headliner concerts from Wacken 2013 (Rammstein, Deep Purple, Motörhead, Anthrax, Alice Cooper) can be admired in 3D in July, but also the smaller and younger bands from the Metal Battle will be featured in the film. Insights into the unique atmosphere of the campsite can also be expected.
