Beene (Lucero), Tim Vantol, Josh Mann (Paper
Arms), PJ Bond
Uncle M Music presents a concert recording that makes fan hearts beat faster and is also a precursor to the new studio album set to be released in 2014. CHUCK RAGAN "Live At Skater`s Palace" is a meticulously produced and elegantly designed live double LP. A collector's item that shines with an extraordinary setlist and a unique list of participating guest musicians.
The rough-hewn songwriter and founder of the unique Revival Tour can rely like few other artists on his loyal fanbase in Germany and delighted his audience in August 2013 with an additional surprise. Unlike his usual solo concerts, Chuck was not only acoustically accompanied by his regular musicians Jon Gaunt (violin) and Joe Ginsberg (bass) but by a complete band, completed by Dave Hidalgo Jr. (Social Distortion) on drums and Todd Beene (Lucero) on pedal steel guitar. As an additional treat, the recorded show in Münster featured Dutch songwriter Tim Vantol, Australian punk rock singer Josh Mann (Paper Arms), and US folk singer PJ Bond as additional guest musicians on stage, making this evening unforgettable.
The setlist of the evening spans all albums from Chuck Ragan's solo career so far and includes "Bedroom Lullaby", a first song from the new album "Till Midnight" set to be released in 2014. For the first time, fan classics like "The Boat", "Nothing Left To Prove", and the exhilarating "Meet You In The Middle" can be heard in full band arrangement. The solo performance of the Hot Water Music hit "Drag My Body" also caused overwhelming cheers and a very special goosebumps moment.
"Live At Skater`s Palace" will be released exclusively in analog format as a double LP on vinyl (without download code) and will only be available in a strictly limited edition. The 2LP is now available for pre-order in two color variants at the Uncle M Shop on www.uncle-m.com as well as through www.finestvinyl.de and will be released on January 31, 2014, on Uncle M Music.
