KMPFSPRT signs with UNCLE M MUSIC
- Debut album of the Cologne rock punks will be released in spring 2014
You read that right: debut. It's hard to believe that this will be the first Kmpfsprt album. With only a 6-track EP under their belt, the Cologne band has already taken the main stages of huge festivals like Melt!, Reload, Mair1, Monster Bash, Greenville, Omas Teich in the past 18 months. They played support shows for Billy Talent and Gorilla Biscuits. They received full-page newcomer features in Intro, Visions, Ox, and more. KMPFSPRT is not a complete blank slate, as members of the band have previously played in Fire In The Attic, Days In Grief, or were active like guitarist David as a novelist and model in Japan.
In early 2014, the debut album and thus the successor to the "Das ist doch kein Name für ne Band!" EP will be released via Uncle M Music (distribution: Cargo Records) on LP, CD, and digitally. In advance, KMPFSPRT will once again tour Germany alongside IDLE CLASS and will present some first songs from the new album at the shows.
