No other band resonates on the collective wavelength quite like the 2 funny 3 from Hamburg North West. Just 18 months after the start of their "trial separation," they scratched each other's doors again in the summer of 2012, threw pebbles at the windows, spied on each other through mutual friends, asking how it stands: "Does he miss me?", "Is his damn solo album coming out??", "What does he want in Oslo???". This howling grew louder and louder. In short: Without the echo of HIM and HER, it was lonely in space.
When one was just fooling around on TV and looked somewhat amputated, the others met quite coincidentally in the shared think tank (the doorbell reads: Studio Iglesias), chopped a watermelon to celebrate the day, grabbed the first LP from the studio neighbor's vinyl room (for the nerds: it was Sexual Harassment's "If I Gave You A Party" from 1983) and spontaneously wrote the invitation on a quickly bounced loop for number 3 to drop by: He must have understood the message, and the ringing invitation card "Can you come" became the Big Bang of the new FB album, which will now, by the way, be named after Andy Warhol:
"3 is ne Party".
So be careful, kids, if you're not in bed yet: it's time to escalate again! Fettes Brot wants you to shake like the crazy world under your cold feet. Casio kids and mobile mutants will party as if it were just a thrilling rocket journey from '83 to 2013 - in 45 minutes back to the future. Your new dance moves are called #Dance the Fat Greek, #Lift the Roof, and #Be the Ice Princess. Group FB waves with sound files - built from disco rap, boom-boom bap, and electro clap. There are modern melodic rhymes and Renz'en's minor 7 chords, breakneck concrete beats, and louder-louder-Lauterbach's naked ass in your face. They are back ... straight from the coast: "Klaus & Klaus & Klaus".
