Dave Hause will release his long-awaited album "Devour" at the beginning of October, which has already generated significant buzz with rave reviews in Rolling Stone magazine and American Songwriter.
For Dave Hause, who comes from working-class roots, the American Dream is a broken promise, a childhood ideal whose fragments have scattered over the past two decades of his life. On his second solo album, the Philadelphia-born singer/songwriter addresses this discrepancy between hope and failure - and the time in between. In captivating rock songs, where hints of folk and punk shine like dark diamonds.
As a follow-up to the globally acclaimed solo debut "Resolutions," "Devour" presents itself as a thematic journey of 12 songs that explores the question of why it is inherently American to have an insatiable hunger and how this appetite can bring insurmountable hurdles into the meaningful relationships of a lifetime.
After celebrated performances on Chuck Ragan's Revival Tour and as support for The Gaslight Anthem, this journey will finally take him back across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in November and December:
