On their new album, the Skacore superstars team up with The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
On May 24, the eight-member strong Skacore combo from the Regensburg area will release their new album "At The Edge Of The End" via Long Beach Records Europe. The Prosecution, with their lively mix of danceable ska, fun-driven California punk, and political hardcore, are among the most active live German ska-punk bands. "We are incredibly excited to welcome this young, motivated, and dynamic band to our family and to attack together," says label head Gernot Krebs enthusiastically.
"At The Edge Of The End" impressed Dicky Barrett (The Mighty Mighty Bosstones) so much that he contributed his vocals to the song "Learning Life", recording the vocal tracks in the Argyle Studios in Hollywood and sending them back to Germany with a dry "You guys sound great!".
With the brand new video for the song "Ironic Phases", The Prosecution already gives a first glimpse of their new work: http://youtu.be/iyNN7HC0kWM
"We have spent countless hours in the rehearsal room and studio over the past months and can hardly wait to present our new album on stage," says guitarist and singer Simon Bernhardt.
Along with the new album, the band also announced today a joint tour with Reel Big Fish as well as additional tour dates for 2013.
