The Süddeutsche Zeitung and Rolling Stone compared her to Kate Bush, with Intro calling her "the Norwegian answer to Tori Amos, Console, and Wagner." Susanne Sundfør's critically acclaimed platinum album "The Brothel" managed to stay in the Norwegian album charts for 30 weeks and sold over 40,000 copies.
With the follow-up work „The Silicone Veil“, which will be released on 05.10.12 in Germany, Susanne Sundfør is now expanding her musical universe. Thematically, it deals with the blurred boundaries between one state of existence and another, between life and death, between people, and between us and the Earth.
