We Invented Paris: Action Nouvelle Tour

Some call it 'crowdfunding', We Invented Paris calls it 'Action Nouvelle': To finance their second studio album, the
artist collective with Swiss roots invites its friends and fans in a playful way to become 'shareholders' of the project for a year. Unlike typical crowdfunding campaigns, where supporters choose from a fixed reward catalog, the Paris inventors will ensure that shareholders can regularly redeem their WIP securities for new innovative rewards. The 'Bourse de Paris' opens on October 5, both digitally and in reality:

From October 5 to 21, We Invented Paris will be on 'Action Nouvelle Tour' through Germany and Switzerland! After over 150 shows in two years, they will provide deep auditory insights into the repertoire of their second album for the first time. Even during their
festival appearances (including Hurricane/Southside, Phono Pop, Open Flair), it became clear that the WIP sound in 2012 has become more mature and focused. You can hear from the collective around Flavian Graber that it is on the verge of transitioning - from a project to a band that wants to take the next step. This drive is also reflected in the title "Hold On", a first sample that We Invented Paris will make freely available to all its shareholders starting October 5. This single is just the tip of an iceberg of fresh songs and ideas that are eagerly waiting to be recorded under studio conditions. There is a good atmosphere and confidence on the Parisian floor that this endeavor will be realized starting in spring 2013.
