On November 21, 2005, the third album by the band StaatsPunkrott will be released on Nix-Gut-Records (www.Nix-Gut.de).
It features 19 songs with a total playing time of 60 minutes.
Excerpt from a review: "After their successful Nix-Gut debut, StaatsPunkrott is back with their long-awaited third album, "Größenwahn – jetzt!" The album showcases the full range of melodic punk rock (with critical to humorous lyrics), hard, aggressive political punk, as well as ska and ballads across 19 tracks. All of this comes with a fat sound and creative arrangements. Once again, StaatsPunkrott has not limited themselves musically, delivering a varied and convincing record, as one has come to expect from them. The CD comes in a classy digipack!" Anyone who wants to preview the songs from the album can listen to 5 tracks at www.StaatsPunkrott.de.
Simultaneously with the album, three new samplers featuring StaatsPunkrott will be released: Chaos, Bier + Anarchie IV, Deutschpunkgewitter, and A-Punk (a worldwide released punk sampler). With this, StaatsPunkrott has released 9 CDs (including samplers) within 2 years of the band's existence. 4 more samplers will follow in the coming months.
In 2005 alone, StaatsPunkrott played over 30 concerts and shared the stage with bands like Normahl, Fuckin Faces, Kafkas, Wärters Schlechte, and many others. A complete Germany tour is planned for 2006...
