With the "Projekt Seerosenteich" tour, Philipp Poisel will perform again in a more intimate setting, in theaters and concert halls. Even if the concept may not be fully realized in every city - the songwriter's attitude is clear: "For me, it can't be small enough." If a concert is sold out, there should be an additional show at the same location - but no move to a large anonymous hall. So far, this seems to have almost universally succeeded. The tour, initially announced only on Facebook, is a mix of concert and variety show. Elaborate stage designs and constructions create an unusual setting where the musicians not only play their instruments but also occasionally perform a small trick.
Philipp Poisel has created his own poetic world, where every little detail matters to him. He enthusiastically talks about the special projector from a company in Vienna that projects extraordinary backgrounds up to 11 meters wide. He saws and paints the stage constructions himself with friends because this tour is very important to him. "Someone who calculates harder would probably shake their head that one would even do something like this," Philipp believes and shares that the musicians and their companions sometimes stay in a recreation center instead of a hotel to make this tour possible. That's Philipp Poisel 2012!
