In 2012, the Berlin cultural agency, FIREMUZICVISION, presents the first MIGHTY SOUNDS BAND CONTEST for Germany in Berlin.

For over eight years now, the largest subcultural festival in Eastern Europe has been taking place in the Czech town of Tábor. Up to 30,000 people gather for Mighty Sounds and collectively live the utopia of a united Europe. To accommodate the increasing number of visitors, the festival grounds have been gradually expanded since 2008. This primarily involved the camping areas and parking spaces. Despite this, the subcultural character has been preserved. This is reflected, among other things, in the pricing level. The three-day ticket costs only 33 euros. The lineup is top-notch. Bands like Ska-P, Anti-Flag, Madball, Mad Sin, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, and many more have graced the stage here. Even though Mighty Sounds 2012 is the eighth of its kind, it is still considered a hidden gem in Germany. In the last two years, the exclusive warm-up shows in Berlin have pointed towards the festival and its internationality.

But this time, everything will be different! Your band gets the chance not only to stand in front of the stage but to become an active part of the festival's design. Two competitions will take place in Berlin and Vienna, where bands from the European region can apply. The winners will then have the opportunity to present their artistic work to a broader, and especially new audience, during the Mighty Sounds weekend.
To apply for the contest in Berlin, simply send an EMAIL quickly and promptly. You have until mid-January to do so. After that, you will enter a pool of bands that will be drawn by FAN VOTING at www.firemuzicvision.com. Now it's time to mobilize fans, as only the first four will advance. If you participate in the contest, you will face a highly objective Mighty Sounds jury and travel as a winner to the festival in 2012.
The objective jury consists of the numerous guests at the contest itself, making it all the more important to mobilize fans and excite them for you as a band.
