In 2012, Anti-Flag is gearing up for a big strike: "The General Strike" is
not only the title of their new album, scheduled for March 2012
(Sideonedummy Records / Cargo) but also the motto with which the
punk quartet from Pittsburgh/Pennsylvania will bring more power than ever to
German clubs in April.

Anti-Flag looks back on the most formative year in their band's history,
in which the socially and politically engaged musicians were able to draw new
hope worldwide. The Occupy protests originating from New York's Broadway have
strongly influenced the new songs by frontman Justin Sane, Chris
#2, Chris Head, and drummer Pat Thetik – from
hardcore-infused earworms to The Clash-inspired political anthems,
the new album showcases greater variety than ever and is
a testament to the band's maturity on their now eighth album. The
content-wise, the band is also more motivated and focused than ever.

"Europe and our fans there have always been the biggest supporters
of Anti-Flag," explains bassist Chris #2 regarding the tour. "To
give something back to our fans there, we listen to the wishes of our
friends and have booked the tour in very small venues to
ensure that these concerts are as personal and closely connected to the fans
as possible."
