Only a few artists can look back on such a long and varied creative period as Hubert von Goisern: with "Hiatamadl" he was considered the founder of modern Alpine rock over 20 years ago. Since then, he has always followed his own paths, realized dreams, made films, initiated new and innovative musical projects, always with himself as the "red thread" of his ideas. He has played concerts in 25 countries, utilizing the resulting synergies for collaborations with artists from Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe, as well as with figures like Konstantin Wecker, Wolfgang Niedecken, and Xavier Naidoo. Hubert's two-year "LinzEuropaTour," a journey from Linz on a concert ship to the Black Sea (2007) and to the North Sea (2008), is legendary. A mammoth project with incredible opulence and great musical encounters.
The new album "EntwederundOder" completes the circle: reduced, but not slowed down, Hubert's music comes stripped down to the essentials and installs itself directly in the heads and hearts of the listeners. The first single "Brenna tuats guat" is a song with substance, perhaps a true protest song for the first time in a long while, capturing the emotions of people in times of financial crisis and global uncertainties. With this and "EntwederundOder," Hubert von Goisern is represented in the charts like never before – without doing anything differently than before. The time is ripe!
The album "Entwederundoder" was at number 2 for three weeks and has now also received gold!
In Germany, the album reached number 13, the highest chart position for Hubert von Goisern in this country to date.
