MAKE MY DAY RECORDS signs MOVING MOUNTAINS (USA, NY)
We are pleased to announce that we will be releasing the new album by the New York quartet MOVING MOUNTAINS. WAVES is the first output since 2008.
Two previews can be found in the tracks "Where Two Bodies Lie" and "Tired Tiger" here: http://www.facebook.com/MovingMountains
While the debut “PNEUMA,” released via Deep Elm, was more of a project affair between two friends (singer/guitarist Gregory & drummer Nick Pizzolato), WAVES presents a band that has grown together through numerous tours. The step forward is remarkable. Fans of Dredg, Thrice, Sunny Day Real Estate, or Further Seems Forever should mark the release date in red on their calendars.
The album will be released digitally on May 10 and will then also be available as a CD through the usual mail orders (Green Hell / Flight 13) as well as the label's website www.makemydayrecords.de. Vinyl will be released later in the year.
WAVES will officially hit the stores on July 29.
