[What's coming up?] Neo-Nazis from Trier and the surrounding area have announced a march in Trier for July. Following far-right events in September and December 2004, this is the latest attempt by the neo-Nazis to take to the streets here to promote their inhumane, racist, and anti-Semitic ideology. However, it is clear that they will not go unchallenged in Trier. During their last attempt, the grandly announced Nazi activities as "Offensive Moselland" were severely disrupted when 30 Nazis were massively confronted by 300 anti-fascists in December.
We hope that in July enough anti-fascists will stand in the way of the right-wingers. Every Nazi offensive finds its Stalingrad sooner or later. Let's ensure that the Trier Nazis experience theirs in July!
[What's happening?] We call on everyone to actively stand in the way of the Nazis! We do not want to ignore or silence the Nazis, but to confront them head-on and make it clear that they have no place here! Anti-fascist counter-demonstrations are registered at several locations in the city. The Nazis' meeting point is at 11 a.m. at the main train station, and they plan to set off at 1 p.m. You will be informed in good time about the exact meeting points and times for anti-fascists. Get informed here on the internet or from anti-fascists you trust about the current situation. If you are traveling from outside, organize your journey with acquaintances or contact your local Antifa.
Until then: download the flyers to print, copy, and distribute to schools, neighbors, workplaces, and local pubs. Get posters and stickers, paint banners, or think of exciting ways to annoy the Nazis in advance with friends.
