The name is a bit confusing at first. Because Gloomster has very little to do with gloomy rock. Instead, the guys from Eisenach play uncompromising hardcore punk. Their new album "Randkultur" can now even be downloaded for free. The band cites the following reasons for this gift: "1. CDs are crap!!! 2. Vinyl is too expensive for us!!! 3. We don't want to look for a label!!! 4. We don't want to deal with GEMA again!!!! 5. Everything for everyone and for free!!!!" All the energy saved from CD production is noticeably packed into the songs, which are available for download here in a ZIP package, including a multi-page inlay for self-printing: http://www.gloomster-band.de/node/68
