The operators of the Oire Szene blog quickly achieved enormous popularity with up to 8,000 visitors daily. No other German-language blog informed so regularly and in such detail about the right-wing open Skinhead and punk scene, even if sometimes it went a bit overboard. It is clear that this does not win you many friends. Today, the editorial team capitulates to the hostility, partly of a legal nature, and according to the official statement, certainly not least due to the effort of ongoing educational work for a scene that often does not want to be educated.

We have now reported continuously for almost 2 years on the abysses of the right-wing open gray zone and the entire right-wing rock spectrum and unfortunately must first suspend the operation of our blog site. The topic of the gray zone has apparently proven to be so important in the scene discourse over the past 2 years that we have consistently held the first place at blogsport.de in recent months. At times, this site was visited by up to 8000 (!) people per day. We believe that we as an editorial team have made an extremely important contribution to ensure that the topic of the gray zone does not become a flash in the pan, but that the problem awareness has sustainably penetrated into large parts of the Skinhead and punk scene and beyond. However, we as an editorial team cannot and do not want to do the work that all the emancipatory subcultural or resistant scenes in this country would have to do to respond to this topic in the appropriate manner. Furthermore, we see ourselves no longer able to operate the blog in a reasonable manner due to massive legal actions from the "Krawallbrüder", "Stomper 98", "Volxsturm" and other bands and labels. If ultimately the power of lawyers decides what we can still write on this blog, then we are forced to take other paths... Do not forget what we have written in recent months and continue to work with the information in the spirit of the D.I.Y. principle. There are a thousand ways to do something against the infiltration of our subcultures by the right or right-wing open scene: Organize concerts, write fanzines or blogs, form bands, labels, mail orders, etc., or simply come up with something completely new! In this sense, we thank our loyal readership! Keep on fighting! Fight back the gray zone! Smash the RAC!
