Schwermetall - Der Film describes itself as the first German hard 'N' heavy documentary. It features footage from about 90 festivals and stages across the country from the years 2008 and 2009. In front of the camera were 250 national and international mostly long-haired artists. The fact that the whole project was not put together by professionals but by two fans of the scene may give the film its own unique touch.
From June 17 to June 20, 2010, the grand cinema premiere will take place at the Luxor Kinopalast Wiesloch-Walldorf. Over four days, there will be many activities such as raffles and a concert with Cypecore and Deadlight. This represents the world's first cinema premiere in the style of a metal live event and is also Europe's largest music film cinema premiere ever.
