When was the last time you read a book? Reading isn't really your strength? Then at least you could have someone read to you, just like back in the day with Mom. There are two opportunities to do so this coming weekend. For example, the evening called "Mütze mit Hut" in Köln-Mülheim, where no entrance fee is charged, but a hat is passed around for the artists, into which everyone can contribute as much as they like. The author Anke Fuchs, Armin Bings, and the duo Gut und Böse will provide support with their performances. It starts on June 12 at 8 PM in the café of the Bürgerhaus Mütze, Berliner Straße 77, 51063 Köln.
The Resistencia Festival at the Bielefeld JZ Kamp kicks off the same day at 7 PM with a lecture on the leftist movement in Latin America by Ingo Niebel. However, the focus here is on music featuring Talco, Microphone Mafia, and Option Weg. On Saturday, workshops will again be offered starting at 7 PM about the situation in Darfur and the work of the regional Antifa West. Live performances will be given by Los Fastidios, Kapelle Vorwärts!, Rotdorn, and the Beatpoeten.
