BLUTTAT
was a punk band founded in 1981 in Mülheim an der Ruhr, which also emerged from the local heroes of the band Pissrinne.
The band was founded in 1981 by Jörg, Ralph, and Hans-Uwe after they became aware of Atti during a factory occupation
and she became the singer of the band. Later that same year, they appeared on the H’Artcore sampler and released their first
album Liberté in 1982. With this, they were among the co-founders of the German anarcho-punk scene. Two years later, the album Nkululeko followed.
After the album Cash invoice or credit card, the band disbanded in 1986. Singer Anja (“PAYBACK”) and bassist Hans-Uwe (“HOLY DOLY”,
“The PRANGLES”, “KLUESEN” ... ) continued on in various other bands. A much-celebrated concert was given by BLUTTAT once again in 1999.
Currently, the next one is set for May 15, 2009 in Mülheim an der Ruhr at RINGLOKSCHUPPEN.
