Since Monday, the five guys from Massendefekt have dared to return to the studio after a long break to record new songs. For now, however, only six songs will be recorded. It probably won't be enough for a new album, so it will be interesting to see what purpose the songs are being recorded for. The band from Meerbusch is definitely making a statement with their studio presence: We are not dead yet. Even though it may have seemed that way in the past, it was really just a long band hiatus: Over a year without a single concert, the last album released in 2006, and not much else heard from Massendefekt. So, one can hope for a Massendefekt comeback, especially since they announce on their homepage (http://www.massendefekt.com/) that they will soon reveal new live dates.
