Anyone who has dismissed the Wacken Open Air as a mainstream event for soft, after-work rockers might just find something worthwhile this summer. In the municipality of Ebersdorf in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme), located about 80 km away from the big role model, the Kacken Festival 2008 will take place on August 23. Starting at 4 PM, La Bad Taste, Diarrhoea, Aita, K.S.K., ReekFreak, and JEP will surely blow away any music unit of the volunteer fire department that stands in their way from the stage. You can attend the Kacken 2008 for about the price of a Wacken beer, namely three euros.
