Here we are again with our story, just before the warm season begins… and what could be better – or worse – than the usual summer hit?
That’s exactly what our protagonist wonders as he gets distracted during the swimming competition and drifts into an old, dream-like memory from his past, where he stands in front of two doors.
Behind the first door, a spectacle unfolds – one that daily attracts a multitude of fame-hungry individuals and turns them into part-time stars through a mechanism of fake numbers, misleading advertising, manipulated streams, and counterfeit music awards.
The content doesn’t matter. All you need is the right look for the role or simply the nonchalance to let yourself be molded to be chosen as the perfect vessel.
Art and talent are sidelined in favor of a simple thirst for popularity, fueled by producers, talent scouts, bureaucrats, and promoters who seem to turn everything they touch into gold.
Yet behind these overtaking lanes lurks something, and the dream doesn’t last long: these deliberately inflated numbers eventually fade, leaving the now former star in a flood of debts, fears, and fading spotlight – abandoned by those who had built his identity and part-time fame.
A promised paradise inevitably turns into a hell of alienation…
Could it be that our protagonist chose the door to DISCO INFERNO?
