An open diary, nine chapters, one story – today sees the release of "Your Diary", the first album by LIKE WE ARE. The band's modern core sound combines raw emotion, electronic details, and big choruses into a unique soundscape. The debut was produced by Christoph Wieczorek (Annisokay) at Sawdust Recordings – a collaboration that has given the album its crucial polish.
The songs feel like set-to-music pages from real life: raw, direct, and full of feeling. "Your Diary" tells of overwhelm, alienation, self-doubt, and the search for meaning – but also of realization, new beginnings, and inner strength. Themes that resonate with an entire generation.
A special highlight is the cover of "Secrets" (OneRepublic), which LIKE WE ARE have infused with new emotional depth and seamlessly integrated into the album's narrative. From reflecting on moments of doubt to a hopeful outlook – the final track "One Man Army" makes it clear: This album is not a look back, but a declaration of intent moving forward.
Visually, "Your Diary" also tells its own story: a nighttime journey home, empty streets, music in the ears – a moment between memory and departure.
For fans of Escape The Fate, Annisokay, or Bring Me The Horizon, the album offers modern, honest, and powerful rock with substance.
