The 30 Years In Extremo - The Anniversary Festival is approaching rapidly, taking place from 4th to 6th September 2025 at the Loreley Open-Air Stage.
There are also day tickets available for all 3 days.
2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the founding of In Extremo: To celebrate this occasion properly with their fans, the six musicians will host a large three-day anniversary festival at the Loreley Open-Air Stage from 04 to 06 September 2025. Numerous friends and musical companions will enrich the grand birthday party with their performances. In Extremo will headline each evening on all three days.
“We are proud and happy that so many high-profile bands, performers, and musicians have accepted our invitation to spend these special days with us and undoubtedly provide our shared audience with one of the greatest concert experiences of 2025. This will not happen in this form again anytime soon, and we are already looking forward to this magical weekend together with our fans,” said In Extremo frontman Michael Rhein regarding the announcement of one of the highlights of this year's open-air season.
Even in the third decade after their formation, In Extremo still plays at the forefront of the Champions League of the international rock scene: With their 13th album “Wolkenschieber,” released in 2024, and “Wolkenschieber (Ltd. Extended Edition) - Under the Blood Moon LIVE,” they secured 2nd place in the German charts both times, headlined at Wacken, the largest rock festival in the world, and thrilled tens of thousands last summer as part of their own concert series “Burgentour.” After celebrated concerts in South America, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland, they celebrated the finale of the 2024 summer in front of 10,000 fans with the sold-out, band-owned In Extremo Festival “Weckt die Toten.”
At their concerts, one thought has always been at the forefront: that of celebration, sociability, and community. Whether at early medieval market performances or during large arena shows around the globe – a bond that In Extremo has forged closely with their fans near and far over thirty exciting years, which Michael Rhein, Sebastian Lange, Kay Lutter, André “Dr. Pymonte” Strugala, Marco Zorzytzky, and Florian “Specki T.D.” Speckardt commemorated on their 13th studio album.
