DIE NERVEN - I DON'T WANT TO FUNCTION ANYMORE (Audio)

"I DON'T WANT TO FUNCTION ANYMORE" is already the fifth single from the new album "WE WERE HERE", which will be released on September 13 on Glitterhouse Records. The song was written during a four-week session in a former Michelin-starred restaurant overlooking the Stuttgart Castle Garden with a view of the opera, and the album was recorded live in Studio Nord in Bremen together with producer Moses Schneider.
Their music is still angry, loud, dramatic, and one might even say: nihilistic. But it represents a more mature nihilism than what has been known from DIE NERVEN so far. In their music, one still flies over heaps of junk, over barren heathlands, desolate countries, and deserted cities. But now, beautiful sound splashes shimmer over the scene like the last rays of sun before an eternal night or like a colorful shimmering oil film on a dirty surface.
